Pallavi Mahadkar, Co-Founder
Pallavi has been a yoga practitioner for over 35 years and believes one’s practice is a journey of self-discovery that celebrates authenticity and inner strength. Over the past 20+ years, Pallavi built her corporate career at Deloitte Consulting and The Coca-Cola Company, where she was recognized as an authentic leader with a collaborative, inclusive and action-driven approach. Since leaving the corporate world to focus on health and family, she completed her 200 hour Yoga Teacher Training and certification in Yin Yoga instruction. Pallavi is passionate about yoga awareness and education among young people and currently serves as a yoga instructor for nonprofits serving young people, including Laughing Dogs Yoga and Team Maggie's Dream. Reflecting on her experience working with children and young adults in her community as well as her own wellness journey while pursuing her education, career, family and other passions, Pallavi was inspired to create a program dedicated to educating and motivating young people to commit to self-care. In 2024, she teamed up with Theresa to found Sunlit Path Collective. Pallavi resides in Roswell, Georgia and is a proud mama, artist, home chef, hiker and serves on the Board of the Atlanta Youth Wind Symphony.
Theresa Kelly, Co-Founder
Theresa began practicing Yoga for over 25 years ago and believes the practice has space for all of us to explore our spirits & minds, to challenge & nuture our bodies, and to remember we are exactly where we should be. Theresa, like many others, first sought Yoga for the physical benefits, but as time brought inevitable challenges and change, Yoga became a trusted friend and reliable safe space she hopes to help others cultivate in their own lives. Theresa has experience in Nursing, and holds a B.S. in Food & Nutrition as well as her 200 RYT and Yin Yoga certification. She worked as a yoga instructor for Laughing Dogs Yoga and Peach Out Power Yoga before relocating to the west coast where she currently teaches Yin Yoga & Vinyasa Flow at Salty Soul Sanctuary. She approaches leading each class as the unique community it is; each student as an essential member, and prioritizes holding space for students to practice according to their own intentions. Theresa also dabbles in fiber arts, loves being a Mom, and strives to always remain a student.
